Emily earned her Masters in Social Work in 2014 at West Chester University of Pennsylvania. She began her career in foster care and adoption where she discovered her love for working with families. Emily has an individualized, holistic and psychodynamic approach to therapy. When appropriate she includes elements of cognitive behavioral therapy, the use of narrative constructs, and solution-focused or life skills training.

Emily is dedicated to helping clients discover their strengths while finding the core of their pain. Her professional passions include: Women’s Issues, Pre and Post Pregnancy, Depression, Anxiety, ADD/ADHD, Self-Perception, Relationship Issues, Life transitions, LGBTQ+ Issues, Codependency, Adult Children of Alcoholics (ACA), and Addiction in families (Alanon).

Outside of work, Emily loves to spend time with her husband, their son, and their two pets. She enjoys standup comedy, writing, watching the Philadelphia Eagles when they win, reading fiction, swimming, interior design, and iced coffee.
