Cindy Busto, LCSW, DCSWCindybusto@wcccla.com
After receiving her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of California, Berkeley and her Master’s Degree from USC, Cindy began her career at the San Fernando Valley Child Guidance Clinic. She provided individual and family therapy and ran parenting and multifamily groups. She served as co-coordinator for the Child Sexual Abuse and Family Treatment Program and was an adjunct staff member at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Cindy had the opportunity to work with UCLA medical and psychiatric residents on their six-week rotations, during which time she trained residents to listen to the needs of their patients and treat them with dignity, respect and compassion. When she began a private practice, Cindy immersed herself in Family Systems Therapy. This experience, coupled with her psychodynamic training, helped her work more effectively with individuals, families and couples. It is Cindy’s passion to help clients discover and develop their “best selves” and to value the unique contributions that they make to their relationships and community. Cindy has a niche for helping Young Adults thrive.
